Project Greenway: Road to the Future
Visions of the Yellowstone Shortline Trail by Junior High art students.
In early 2021, local junior high art students were asked to share their ideas for what the Yellowstone Shortline Trail could be. We encouraged the students to dream big and imagine all of the different ways in which the future greenway could serve the community and its visitors. We also asked the students to think about the different amenities which would provide users with a world-class experience.
On June 8th, 2021, an art exhibit was held in the historic Union Pacific Dining Lodge in West Yellowstone to show the community the creativity and imaginations of the students brought to life through their artwork. The following images are from the exhibit.
